So it's the first time I celebrated my FIL's father's Day. But I know Paul is rather excited about the day. He woke up early in the morning and I drove him to the supermarket to get the supplies for our BBQ lunch. Now I am confident to drive us to anywhere... oh yes, I am the truck driver.
Since my FIL stay by the lake, or rather his backyard stretches to the lake, it's like a resort for us, jumping into the lake and BBQ at his yard. He also have a boat and a jetski parked by the dock for entertainment, some life he have huh.... So after the yummy BBQ which Paul had prepare, marinate and grill, we hoover down our food and dash right into the lake. Some of us either float in the lake with a floatie or hopped into the jetski. Good thing I managed to keep the food in my belly cause the moment Paul ignite the jetski, he sinked into this trans and think that he's James Bond on a mission ! With me as his passenger, he was riding the wave at full speed, making dangerous turns and gosh, I think he was secretly trying to throw me into the lake. I have to say, despite screaming for my dear life, it was kind of fun. Oh, now I know the advantage of having a fleshy butt, definately come in handly when your butt is slamming on the seat of the jetski. It's like additional cushion hahahah
I remember my last time on a jetski was during my vacation to Tioman with a bunch of my girlfriends where the local transport us from one island to another on their jetski..... Tricia, remember that terrifying journey ?! *lol*
I am so beat up after a whole day of fun and excitement. The next family gathering is 4th of July. Paul told me that last year's 4th of July, beside the jetski, the neighbours would take turns and light fireworks right from their backyard. So it's like a spectular show right on the backyard and everyone just sits on the dock and enjoy the scene. I am so looking forward to that.
Sorry girls, I didn't manage to take any pics cause I was screaming for my dear life. Promise will have some pics to show the next time.

Yeah! The trip we had at Tioman was a wonderful experience for us (Me,U, Long & Xiao Jian). The place that we stay in does not provide adequate amount of hot water to the wooden hut.
On many instances we had to jump on the bathroom floor in order to get the hot water flowing.
Bathing either too early in the morning or too late at night will send shivers down your spine.
