It was fun, it was full of laughters, it was a good experience, it was time to unwind and be crazy and best of all, it's FREE ! Our weekend honeymoom getaway to ST. Augustine, FL was compliments of my Father-In-law as our wedding gift and it couldn't be a better gift for both of us. Hey, who would say NO to a FREE trip ??!!
So there we are driving from Ovideo to St Augustine in 3 hrs and we arrived in the oldest city in Florida. With the fort and the view it was all that we were looking for. The downpart for me is our hotel or rather kind of a Bed & Breakfast place is like 100 yrs old just what the city offers. With the furniture and atmosphere to match they also cover the spooky factor to a perfect 10 since 1 building away is the city's cemetery. U guys know about my supersonic imagination when it comes to ghost and hantus !
So 2 whole nights I was sleeping with 1 eye open just to make sure I don't have any surprise visit from the "Good Brothers & Sisters". You never know, maybe they meant to go back to their own tomb but by accident they bump into my room. As for Paul, he was just happy to eat, sleep, have fun and I would like to think - Enjoy my Company. Ok, it's not all bad the plus point of my room is : It have a tub situated at the edge of the bed. Something I've never seen before, so anytime you want to jump in there to wash yr butt or soak your hong kong feet, feel free to do so. Oh, it's not a small tub, infact it can fit two. Oh, happy times hahahah
I do enjoy such road trip and if Paul's schedule allow, I wish we can have more weekend getaways. Definately time to unwind, chill out and just to get away from the house where someone will make our bed for a change. It would be super fab if it's free too hahahah.
