They are here !!!!

Okie, it's 3 more hours before my Mom and Bro complete their 27 hours flight from Singapore to Florida. They called me right before their last leg of flight from Minnepolis to Florida and my Bro told me he's ready to boogie when he touch down.

The insane part was, everytime when I complete my 27hours flight, I am on the verge of comatose. For Paul, he sees double. And now I have my folks ready to rock and roll.

We have our days ahead planned out now.
Tues : I'll bring them to the Mall as there's things we need to buy for the folks back in Sing.
Wed : We're heading to NASA and my bro actually want to pay USD200 for a zero gravity experience in NASA. I can finally see a real rocket upfront rather than in the skies. If we have time, we'll invade the Factory Outlet.
Thurs : Bright and early, we're heading off to Universal Studio and then come back for BBQ with the folks here to blast off Paul's Birthday Celebration. I am so excited cause we'll have everyone here together for the first time.....

I may not be able to update my blog for the next couple of days but I promise, I'll take tons of photos to post and share.

Until then, Be good and Be safe ! =)

Wooohoooo... I am so so excited !!!!!

Visiting Paul's BFF

I know it's insane that Chinese New Year is over and I am posting photos which were taken during Christmas. But you know the saying, the mind is willing but the body is weak. However, I am glad that I've finally sorted the photos and loaded then up.

If you were to ask me what I love about the trip visiting Paul's BFF, Joe (who lived in Havelock, North Carolina). All I have to say is, EVERYTHING ! Joe showed me a lot of things that I would never ever expect to see. He shared with us his hobbies of rearing rabbits in his garage and serving them as food. He showed me his herbs and vegetable garden in his back yard and how much he love to "can" and preserve fruits and vegetables. Yes, he gave me a bottle of strawberry jam, lime and blue berry jam that he never ever share with anyone. SO I am very honored and they are so yummy !!! To summarise it all, Joe's food are organic.

I also came across a patch of cotton field which blew my mind away as I've never see a cotton field in my life. They do remind me of clouds on the ground and I even pluck one back with me to remember it by.

Oh, I can never forget Joe's kids. They are so adorable. His little girl, Brittney follow me around like my shadow and she's just so precious. She even want to come back to Florida with me. I am amazed when his kids call me Miss D and Paul - Mr Paul. For a moment, I told Paul, I feel like a school teacher but I am loving every minute of it.

It's definately a trip that Paul and me need and I hope we're able to return back this year.

P/S: It is at Joe's place where Paul get his deep frying addiction and I am not complaining. HE have since then served a lot of yummy but guilty food.
