Thanks Tricia for sending me these pics.....
Oh Yeah, how can I forget that day when the 3 of you (Tricia, Cecilia & Eunice) drag your butt out of bed at 3am, arrive at my place at 3.30am and hog my butt to the airport for my flight to Orlando.
I still remember the comical scene when the "professional" backpack's strap broke free and decide to make an escape route for itself. It was like an instant panic attack for all of us. Immedicately the 4 of us snap into an emergency mode, hunting for needles and thread, hoping for a sudden recovery for my strap.
I recall Tricia, who have never even sew her husband's clothing or even repair a lose button but got into rescue mode armed with a needle and thread and starting sewing away. Me and Cecilia was staring at Tricia's heroic rescue and in mist of it, I even tell Eunice to start praying for a miracle.
After the amature stitches, the aid of the safety pin and the drama, we leave home and I kept my fingers crossed (i think my fingers suffer fm a mild sprain from crossing tightly) and the strap better cooperate and not collaps on me. After the successful check-in, all I can continue to do is hope the strap will remain intag and so happily the 4 of us skip and hop to Burger King for some much needed breakfast to repenish our energy fm the sewing (that's for tricia) and recover from the shock (for the rest of us). As for me, I'm just happy that recovery is done and the strap is in ICU.
For those of you who want to know the status of my "Professional" Backpack, it's still in it's same condition, the amature but effective stitches and the ever so useful safety pin holding it together, the bag is still stuck in my closet ..... but I have no desire to see it for now....but just comical memories that crack us up !
So THANKS AGAIN girls for all the support you've given me and and the never dying hope you give to my backpack.... Hahhah
