It's 11th of July today and we have officially hit our 6th month mark. Regardless of what the others say, to me it's a big deal. I still can't believe that I am married and living with a man for 6 mths and I have been in the US for about 7+ months. Oh Yes, 7 long months without my close blood sisters, my family and my friends. During this 6 months of marriage, there are lots of ups and downs, fun and laughters, sorrow and tears and isn't this what a marriage is all about ?!
Today Paul and me went to the US Homeland Security for my Permanent Residency interview. For the past month, we were all geared up for the interview today and anticipate that it will take hours but it only took us 30 mins and we were out of the place in no time. As usual, they required more documents from us. So there will be more submission and hopefully we can get an update from them ASAP. Is there any other way to prove to them that I am here cause I have married Paul and I am marrying him cause we want to spend the rest of our lives together and we are happy together ? *sigh* Why would I want to leave my family, blood sisters, friends and all the fun in Singapore and be here in US all alone ??? The Answer - Cause I Love Him !!! *sigh x 100*
For our celebration, we went to this American Pizza place which everyone have been raving about. From now onwards, PLEASE DO NOT give me reviews on how great and fantastic a place is. As I have this tendency to build up my expectation and then get super disappointed when I visit the place.
It's like a double whammy for me today 1) The Immigration Interview is going to need more documents from us which I have them sorted out and Paul will be sending them via Express Mail tomorrow (which means more delay) and 2) Our Celebration Dinner sucks...
Anyway I am holding my chin up for tomorrow. OH YES !!! We're departing Oviedo and charging to Boone County, North Carolina tomorrow evening. I've prepared some healthy snacks like Cherries, Plums and Green Apples for Paul to munch on during our way up there... need to keep our driver happy =)

You silly sister of mine! Havent you realized yet that Paul doesn't know any good restaurants??? When are you gonna trust me to be your tour guide, here in your new home called Orlando? Has he taken you to any of the chinese restaurants I told you about? If you havent gone to PF Changs yet, thats where I want to take you for your birthday! In my opinion, they have the BEST chinese food in town! I wouldnt know if it is "authentic" but the food is great and the atmosphere is beautiful! And if you guys were wanting pizza last night, American Pie is not the place to go! Anthonys Pizza or Giovannis has great pies! See? I can help you! What are sisters for?
See you tonight for our trip! Cant wait!!!
Love you!
Yes Sister, I've learned my mistake ! Gullible me keep wanting to believe in my Husband. Definately agree that Sisters have better suggestions than Husband.
All those reviews from the others "convinced" him to bring me there or at least "to try out". I have suggest PF Cheng which you mentioned before but he is stucked with the concept of high traffic 24/7 in that area and he doesn't want to venture there... oh well, at least his fav food is Pizza. i have learned my mistake BIG TIME ! YESSSSS !!! AM Super Sonic excited abt the trip tonight !!!! =) HIP HIP HURRAYYYYYY !!!!!
