i love that song too! kind of makes me feel nostalgic! that is how we (the family) grew up! we would take the boat out and drive it a few hours up the st. johns river and we would go this place called Silver Glen where HUNDREDS of other boats gathered and tied up to each other and you could get out and swim up to the springs. the water was super clear and freezing cold, which was nice compared to the hot-as-hell florida summer weather! everyone just PARTIED for days! some boats had slides and everyone had big water guns, water balloons and fun motorized water toys that you could ride around. i was too young to have some big romance like in the song, plus everytime i tried to talk to boys or sneak off with them in the woods to smoke cigarettes or drink, my dad would follow me, which usually ended with a strict punishment! hahahaha!!!
i wish he still had a boat to take up the st johns, you would enjoy it! maybe we can talk him into renting one sometime?

Yes, we should "brainwash" your dad into renting one and we can go explore. This time I'm sure he'll not punish you when you sneak off into the woods hahhaha
Paul's biggest wish now is to rent a cabin in the mountain and spend it with the family.
Either way, I think spending time with everyone would be great. Till now, our trip with U and funny Pete to Boone is still one of the very best trips I had.
