MY GIRLS ROCK !!!
It's 11.45pm on 24th(US time and date) but in Singapore it's 25th and 11.45am. Cecilia rang my house phone and registered herself as the first to call this year... while we're counting down to the next 15 mins, here come Tricia's number on the Call Waiting function flashing. Unfortunately I only have the Call Waiting function but not the Conference Call function. Thus the Master plan would be for Tricia to call Cecilia on her cellphone and then Cecilia would call me and from there we would have our conference call.
I clicked to answer Tricia and the first thing she said was, "I've called u five times and I thought I got the wrong number." Thus I told Tricia the master plan. By this time, my line had already cut off Cecilia. Yah, it's very dramatic hahahah
My very "powderful" sister - Tricia said "Yes, U propose but I reject. I will hang up after 12.01am and then Cecilia can talk to u." I can't help but laugh out loud at her reply. Again I am imagining Cecilia's reaction when she heard the so very powerful statement.
Nevertheless, we did managed to have a 3 way conference call and it's a blast. I so damn bloody miss the dinners we had together and our conversations which covers everything under the sun. I know it may not be as interesting and R rated as "Sex in the City" but it sure stir up loads and heaps of laughters among ourselves.
THANKS GIRLS, for upholding the tradition of calling the Birthday Girl by 12midnight and battle to be the first to wish the Birthday Girl. Your gesture definately warm my heart and someone who is away from her friends, family and everything else in Singapore.
Despite my husband who is a few steps away from me and could easily be the first to wish me. But somehow I am glad that he didn't. Cause coming from my girls and coming from him is so different. If he's the first to wish me, he would have broken the tradition and it would never ever be the same again.....
Damn, it's my 2nd year of missing my Birthday Celebration with my girls and it sucks. The only bright side of it is 1) We'll have a belated celebration when I return back to Sing in Sept, 2) We had a pre-celebration before I left Sing and 3) I would be celebrating it with my other sister, Sommer and of course Paul and definately Pete tomorrow.

I always think it's so comical when the 3 of us are together. Even thought the others may not find it amusing but we'll always laugh out head off about nothing...
