It’s been a week since the diagnosis of my mom’s Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) disease. She had also gone through 1 treatment for her problem eye since. Today we returned to the Eye Doctor for a follow up.
To those of you who have been praying for my mom, your prayers worked!
The Doctor gave us the good news that there’s no sign of infection on her eye and she’s also recovering progressively. The bleeding in her retina had stopped and the fluid which was once there had also disappears.
Nevertheless, to be on the safer side, the Doctor wanted my mom to go through another round of treatment next month. From now till the next treatment, we are still keeping a close “eye” if there’s any sign of deterioration but other than that, it looks like my mom is heading for the road of recovery.
Once again, Thank You folks for the prayers! =)
P/S: Triplets are still mischievous and I am still the prison guard! hahahah
