It was love at first sight for me and my Interior Decorator aka Sommer. Seriously for the longest time, I've told Sommer that I'm still in the Beginner's stage where home deco is concerned. Whereas for her, she is the PRO. Did I mention that every single time when we're out shopping for house deco items, there's definately one or two or even three fellow shoppers who would ask where we get a particular item from or compliment the piece we choose is beautiful ! Regardless, I'm still evolving and trying very hard to comprehend various styles and the functionality of deco item.
During one of our house deco trip, we stumble into this magnificient bowl. No, it's not used as a serving bowl for food and seriously I even wonder it's main function. But it's definately one wicked piece of deco item. And when Sommer point it out to me, my jaws dropped. Yes, I fall in love with it instantly. Infact, it took me less time to fall in love with this bowl than with Paul hahahah
Despite the love for it, somehow we didn't buy it since we're focusing on getting the bathroom and kitchen done and I have a budget to stick to. We also see it more as a piece for the living room. Thus it stayed in it's shelf and I was secretly praying that it'll be there waiting for us when we progressed to decorating the living room.
My amazing SIL had secretly went back to the store and bought it for me. Yes, it's another enticing condition that tangle right infront of me - It's mine for keeps when I return back from Singapore and NO, it have to stay in my house and not allowed to travel back to Singapore with me. For now, it's sitting in my dining table so I can glance and drool at it each time I passes it. Yes, it also reminded me that we still have the living room to decorate and get together when I return and allow this magnificient bowl shine in it's glory.
Hey, I just realised that my marriage had earned me a SIL who is also my Interior Decorator, my Marriage Counceller, my Shopping Buddy, my fellow Bitching/Downloading Pal and my BFF !!! Yah, I'm blessed =) and I'll definately miss my SIL when I'm back in Sing *sigh*
